All Aboard!

I'm not sure why, but when I see this pair I immediately picture sailing on the open ocean. Navy Blue canvas. Brilliant white toe and sole. You can see it too, right?

A relaxed classic.

This iteration brings a tough canvas upper in place of the classic leather. The dark navy blue provides strong contrast to the white stitching, enhancing the design detail. Metal eyelets, painted cream to match the leather sock liner, provide an additional pop of contrast. Included in the box was a pair of cream colored laces if you need more contrast in your life.

Wear these with jeans on 'casual Fridays'. Wear them on the deck of your sailboat. This pair is ready to wear!

And I have. You'll notice I took these photos after I had worn this pair. They looked so good I just had to put them on and wear them out on the town! I thought the canvas might be stiff, and it was at first, but became more pliable as the night wore on. After a little 'breaking in', they were perfectly comfortable.

Final thoughts.

The canvas construction looks like it can tolerate abuse. I should be able to wear these for years to come. As I bring them into the rotation, you'll be able to see how they hold up on Instagram. If i get them wet and they fall apart, I'll be sure to post back here.
