Introducing WebEx
TWC 347 - Research Synthesis & E-mail
This document is from a series of assignments where I needed to conduct research, synthesize new information, and communicate what I had learned. I conducted research on business communication solutions and made a case for selecting WebEx. In a later assignment, I adopted the persona of a CEO to create and communicate the selection and rollout plan for WebEx.
To do all of this, I needed to understand what needs I had as a business owner as well as those of my business, employees and customers. I needed to synthesize what I found so I could summarize the selection for my employees. I also needed to further understand the needs and emotions of my employees so I could communicate professionally and effectively in a way they could understand.

Friend Availability Calendar
TWC 444 - UX Strategy
This document defines the user experience for a solution which solves an all too familiar problem: Finding time to hang out with friends.
I began by researching the problem and identified multiple existing solutions/workarounds. Then, before creating my solution, I defined my target audience/users through personas. From there, I defined the necessary features to include and proposed a user-centric design for my concept solution.
Research and UI/UX best practices were used as evidence to support UX decisions.

New Employee Onboarding
TWC 431 - Final Editing Project
This document is the result of me reaching out to local business to offer my services as an editor. I edited a 15-page new employee onboarding document for format, language, and readability.
The document had been created and maintained by different people over multiple years and was inconsistent and outdated.
I interviewed the owners and stakeholders of the document to understand goals and desired updates. I then edited the document for format and content to meet those goals (consistency in design and language, print-friendly).
The document is still in use today.
