TWC 301 - Blog Assignment
This assignment was my first attempt at creating a website of my own -I had never written a blog post before. I demonstrated my ability to learn new technologies and a new communication format/medium. I then applied my rhetorical knowledge to craft content in a manner which spoke to my intended audience and encouraged my audience to not only read, but engage with my posts. This engagement would provide valuable feedback and ideas for me to incorporate into upcoming posts.
The site was built using WiX, a site builder I was previously unfamiliar with. The site layout was minimalist (my preference) and drove visitors to the blog. The content for this site included text, images, and links.

TWC 301 - Website Analysis
This assignment was my first time evaluating a website for content, construction, organization and usability. My analysis applied user experience design practices and color theory research in evaluation of the site's design for both aesthetics and usability. Site content was also evaluated and recommendations for improvement were provided in alignment with the site’s audience and business goals.
My recommendations for improvement focused on the user and included "chunking" content into digestible portions, implementation of guidelines for image selection and sizing, and functional suggestions for the site's layout.

Format / Medium: Written Document (text & images)

TWC 421 - Website Creation
This course covered fundamentals of colors, usability and website creation (from planning to publication). To best understand my audience and create a point of reference, I created the Georgia persona. I invented her 'business' and ultimately crafted a website which established her online presence.
I then considered who Georgia was trying to reach with her website. I used this to create content for the site which included information about her, her business and resources for her students. The site also features a means to schedule a music lesson.
Once completed, Georgia's business objectives were fulfilled and her students were provided a helpful resource.

I returned to WiX to create this website which included new features such as scheduling which I had previously not implemented.
